Consider this a friendly and fun pre-exam in preparation for the official ACMG guides exam. This course is built for ladies already pursuing a career as a ski guide or those of you who are seriously considering it.

This course offers direct and focused mentorship for ladies who may already have industry experience, but are seeking more personalized training. We will spend three hands-on days exploring your ski touring goals and reinforcing your existing skill-set, as well as identifying and supporting key areas for growth.

Skill Level:

• Highly proficient skier in all terrain and all conditions 

• Confident moving through all terrain whether you’re breaking trail or downhill skiing

• Interested in pursuing ski guiding as a career

• Proficient glacier travel and crevasse rescue skills

  • This course will focus on practicing and examining your current skills

• Competent with rescue equipment

• Extensive touring experience and some trip-planning experience (20+ days a year)

• Strong fitness level (1500+ m elevation gain a day)

• Recommended CAA Operations Level 1, 80h Wilderness First Aid
