Q. What skill level do you need to attend a Girls Do Ski event?
Girls Do Ski events are geared towards intermediate and advanced female skiers. In order to have a comfortable Girls Do Ski experience, a strong overall skiing base is recommended. If you feel your skiing level has become stagnate and you would like to learn new strategies to improve your techniques, our events provide the perfect outlet to help you progress.

You’re a beginner skier and/or still getting comfortable on green and blue runs
You haven’t built the stamina for a full day of skiing yet
Q. How can I register for an event?
Please visit the “BOOK NOW” tab on our site. Methods of accepted payment include E-transfer, VISA, Master Card and American Express. Click on the camp you’d like to register for and hit the “REGISTER NOW” button to fill out our form. Upon registration you will be asked your skiing skill level. It is imperative that you refer to our ‘skill guide’ in regards to your level of skiing.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
Follow this link to learn more. As a small business, we need to keep a base income stream going in order to survive, so we have added an administrative fee to our cancellation policy. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Q. Will i be required to sign a waiver?
Yes you will - our waiver is accessible on our website at all times to view and read. When you sign up for a camp, you will be prompted to read and sign the same waiver online, in your own time. You will then sign a paper copy the morning of your camp. We are here to answer any and all questions about the waiver. It is important that you read and understand it fully before signing.
Q. What type of skiing is coached or skied at events?
Girls Do Ski is based in freeskiing. We have our own method that we have developed over the years that is different than your average ski school curriculum. We are focused on building and developing techniques in skiing to get you off the groomers. If you enjoy skiing (or would like to ski) trees, powder skiing, steep pitches, rollers, bumps, jump turns, and the like, our events will suit you perfectly!
Q. Are snowboarders welcomed?
Yes and no - We aren’t able to accept snowboarders into our Resort camps, however Splitboarders are welcome to join our touring camps!
Q. What ages is Girls Do Ski for?
Girls Do Ski camps serve women aged 19 years and older. If you are asking yourself “Am I too old for this?” the answer is NO! Our demographics range from people in their 20’s to people in their 60’s. If you are a skier who’s abilities fall within our skills guide, these camps are for you.
Q. What if I have allergies or am vegetarian?
Girls Do Ski wants to cater to your needs and to ensure that you have an all around great experience, so please let us know before the camp if you have any food preferences, allergies or medical conditions. Every effort will be made to tailor your Girls Do Ski experience to meet your needs.
Q. Does Girls Do Ski include accommodations?
Girls Do Ski does not include accommodations; however, we can link you to affordable accommodations for your stay during the duration of the event. We recommend booking accommodations well in advance as winter in Revelstoke is very popular!
Q. What should I bring to a Girls Do Ski event?
We will provide you with an equipment list for your specific camp after registration
Please dress appropriately for the weather. This may include bringing extra layers of clothing to change into.
We also highly suggest that you bring a pair of shoes to change into to maximize your après ski comfort.
Q. What happens if the weather is poor and/or the roads are closed?
We have yet to cancel a camp due to weather and always manage to make the absolute most of whatever Mother Nature has to throw our way. In the event of a road closure or delay we will work to accommodate travellers according to their needs. Please note, however, that we do not refund payment in the case of weather or road closures.
